LAVISH | Cassandra Moore performing Heartbreak On Hold (Alexandra Burke)

Last weekend Cassandra Moore gave us another powerful piece, Heartbreak On Hold By X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke. The matching outfits were custom made and the piece was choreographed by Paul C. Thank you Cassie & team for a perfect show!
Are you “dead in bed, with a thousand tears to shed” from a break up? Press play, sing and dance along because tonight “it’s time to let it go…put your heartbreak on hold!”
Thanks again for another fun weekend! We owe it to you for keeping the party alive!
“I tried everything to get over you
Tryin’ to make it through but nothing ever seems to work
Dead in the bed, a thousand tears were shed
You should get out my head
Nothing takes away the hurt
I can’t stay here can’t stay
I’m going out tonight
I’m dancing all alone (heartbreak on hold)
Close my eyes
It’s time to let it go (heartbreak on hold)
I’m gonna take it to the dance floor doing it on my own
Tonight putting my heartbreak on hold (heartbreak on hold)
Heartbreak on hold”

[LAVISH] Cassandra Moore performing Call My Name – Cheryl Cole
On the Grand Opening Night of ELEVATE, Cassandra Moore stunned us with a graceful ‘Primadonna’ performance …then came down to LAVISH and kicked up the energy with Cheryl Cole’s latest single ‘Call My Name’. A special mention to her dancers Matt & Clayton – they were sexy and amazing!
Have you heard of Cheryl Cole? Honey Brown also performed the UK popstar’s ‘Fight For This Love’ a couple years ago. Cheryl is now back with her smash hit ‘Call My Name’ scoring the number #1 spot on iTUNES UK in a matter of hours. We think Cassandra Moore did total justice to the fun and upbeat footwork. Check out Cheryl’s performance and see what you think!
[LAVISH] #MarryTheNight Recap
Check out the video + pictures from this past weekend courtesy of Ben Clouthier!
We invited Cassandra back to #MarryTheNight! A song I’ve always wanted her to perform at LAVISH!
I dried the wet stage as much as I could but she still slipped in the beginning and the “hospital scene” could have turned into real life drama! Cassandra obviously picked her self back up like a true #Warriorqueen.
What else can I say, I loved this production so much, the energy from the crowd was immense and it was amazing seeing everyone dance their asses off right into the AM. Also….Check out the nurse on the right, he’s got a great ass…BAM (Jesse Weafer from SYTYCD).
[LAVISH] ‘Bollywood Nights’ Weekend Recap
Thanks for spicing it up with us for our first bollywood night at LAVISH! It was a huge success and we had a blast putting the whole themed event together! Although themed events require much more time, effort and money, it’s so worth it when 12:30 strikes and the ‘stars are aligned’ for a quick 5 minutes:
1. The decor
2. The packed club
3. People dancing to the bollywood jam
4. The bollywood show starts
5. …And then the crowd goes wild!
Most people don’t even recollect this “magical moment” (LOL), but I soak in those 5 minutes like no other and that makes the extra effort worth it! Normally mid-January is when LAVISH does the ‘Garden Of Eden’ party but we wanted to mix it up a bit and I couldn’t resist Bollywood! Saturday started out with a shopping trip to purchase pink and orange fabric. With the help of my good friends Jake & Pablo we managed to put it up in 3 hours – and this time none of the decor got ripped down by the end of the night – SCORE!
During decorating hours I got a text from Cardiff (local drag queen) who wanted to open for Cassandra. I thought why not, this could entertaining…and it sure was! When her Sari (Indian dress) started falling off all I could think was “shit, I hope no one is getting offended”. With that said, Cardiff continues to grow as an drag performer…
In cased you missed (or couldn’t remember) Cassandra Moore’s performance, Ben Clouthier captured the amazing show! The beautiful outfits were custom made especially for ‘Bollywood Nights’, and the Bollywood style performance to Rihanna’s smash hit ‘We Found Love’ got people wild!

[LAVISH] Studio 54 Weekend Recap (Cassandra Moore | Drag Vomit | DJ Pablo Ramirez)
drag vom·it (v

=====================
So now that you know what drag vomit is, let me begin my story. Whenever an out of town drag queen stays over at Drag Station Hotel (my apartment), they first unzip they’re suitcase and eject drag vomit all over the floors. It happens all the time, maybe it’s the long car/train ride from Toronto? Who knows. When they leave there’s also a trail of glitter all over everything which takes a few vacuum sucks to get rid of. Just thought I’d share the definition with you. Next time I’ll share the definition of ‘drag piss’ to you (it doesn’t involved a toilet).
It’s been 2.5 years since our last Studio 54 Party! We were super excited to re-live the old school disco glam once again! Tonight Cassandra Moore brought a campy nu-disco number by Wynter Gordon – Buy My Love. The outfits, the dancing and the show was tight! Cassandra Moore delivered another exciting show (one for the books). Check out the show below.
A few people were asking if I got a new DJ. The answer is…… NO! DJ Pablo Ramirez is still Greg (formerly DJ McFly). On our 3rd year anniversary party both Greg and I (formerly DJ EP & McFly) decided to change to our real names: DJ Eddy & Pablo Ramirez. Greg’s real middle name is Pablo Ramirez. He looks Caucasian but he’s actually Colombian… it’s hard to believe. After many months of duo DJing and learning the right music formula for Seductive Saturdays at LAVISH, Pablo gave us a killer solo set for 54. We did our ‘disco research’ mixing current top40 hits, house, disco and funk. Hands were in the air and the dance floor was packed all night so two thumbs up for DJ Pablo Ramirez!
Thanks for all the nice Tweets & Facebook comments! We love you guys!
