If there is any evidence that Beyonce’s new single “Run the World (Girls)” is a certified flop in the making, then this is it: Kelly Rowland’s latest track “Motivation” featuring Lil’ Wayne has now passed her former band member on iTunes.
As of right now, “Motivation” is No. 41 on the iTunes top 100, while Beyonce’s “Girls” continues to steady decline down the chart, sitting at No. 43 after only a week of release.
Interesting enough, “Motivation” has an official remix out by Diplo, whose Major Lazer song “Pon De Floor” was used to create the instrumental to Beyonce’s “Girls” yet somehow Diplo isn’t listed as a producer or a songwriter on “Girls” despite actually producing the song.
